Connecting an existing webshop

To connect an existing webshop to Abeta, this website must meet one of the following requirements:

1. It is a webshop created in Laravel, LightSpeed, Magento, ShopWare, or WooCommerce.
2. It is a webshop that already has a cXML or OCI connection available.

Assuming that your webshop meets requirement 1, you can connect it in the following way:

1. Complete the installation of the module or plugin, as indicated on the specific page for your platform. (Laravel, LightSpeed, Magento, ShopWare, WooCommerce.)
2. Log in with your Abeta account. In the menu on the left, click on the “Webshop” button.
3. You are now in the overview of your webshops. Click on the “New webshop” button in the top right corner.
4. Enter your URL and let Abeta suggest the basic settings. Please note that the slug cannot be changed later, so choose a value that reflects your preferences.
5. Once the webshop has been created, fields will appear, including the API key. Display this, copy it, and paste it into your Webshop. (WooCommerce) Then save the webshop in Abeta again. If everything went well, the status will change to connected.

In some cases, a (test) environment is protected by additional security. In order to connect, Abeta must be informed of these credentials.
